Notre Dame Principal, Dr. Carroll Morrison has been named the educator of the year by North Central West Virginia Media. Morrison started at Notre Dame in the early 1980s as a math teacher and cheer coach before taking some time off to raise a family. She became Principal in 1998 and has lead many improvements at the school during that time. Morrison received the Bishop’s Cross in 2016 from Bishop Michael Bransfield. This award is considered the highest accolade in West Virginia Catholic Education.
