Notre Dame’s have announced Co-Valedictorians for the class of 2016.

Allie Debra Ridgway, the daughter of Ronald and Debra Ridgway, of Clarksburg, is a four-year member and captain of the Varsity Girls Basketball team who made it to the Final Four this year in Charleston.  She is the President of the Key Club which completed over 30 projects supporting the local communities, and Vice President of the National Honor Society. Through her position in National Honor Society, Allie founded a tutoring program for the elementary school, St. Mary’s, which benefitted over 20 grade school students this past year.  In addition, Allie served as Student Body Treasurer and is involved in her church youth ministries.  She has been named an AP Scholar and Ambassador of Justice among other honors. Miss Ridgway will be attending High Point University in the fall to major in Actuarial Science.  She has earned a presidential scholarship from High Point University and has been accepted into the highly selective Honors Program her freshman year.  Allie has one brother, Andrew, who also graduated from ND in 2013.

Rachel Rogers is the daughter of Randal and Sharry Rogers of Grafton.  She is the Notre Dame Student Body President, and has been active in student leadership activities throughout her high school career.  She has been active in Key Club and served on the West Virginia District Board for two years, including District Convention Chair and Governor’s Administrative Assistant, and served as a Delegate at Key Club International Convention. Rachel is active in Taylor County 4H where she serves as club president.  Rachel is an AP Scholar with Honor and a member of National Honor Society.  During her time at Notre Dame, she has participated in basketball, swimming and cross country.  She was named to the All Harrison County teams in basketball and swimming and qualified for state championship meets in swimming and cross country. Rachel plans to attend WVU in the fall, where she was selected as a Bucklew Scholar.
