St. Mary’s and Notre Dame Families:
Well, we made it! It has been a whirlwind year with changes and bad weather!
It is a bittersweet weekend with ND Class of 2025 Graduation. I wish all of our graduates success and peace in their lives ahead of them.
I have attached the calendar for next school year….one more time. A couple dates have been changed and additional events added. Please use this one and discard all others to avoid confusion!

Please join us on August 16 at the VA Park Osborn Shelter from 3:00-5:00 for the Back to School Picnic!
NEWS:
Weston Bus: There will be no bus transportation next week during finals.
Exam Schedule for 7-11 Grade students (May 27-30):
The policy is…a student may be exempt from the exam with: (there is no limit on the number of exams for 2nd semester)
- Teacher Permission
- Five or less absences in the class
- Second semester average of an A or B
Exams are scheduled as follows:
Tuesday, May 27
8:30-10:00 Period 1
10:15-11:45 Period 2
11:45 – 12:30 Lunch available
12:30-2:00 Period 3
Wednesday, May 28
8:30-10:00 Period 4
10:15-11:45 Period 5
11:45 – 12:30 Lunch available
12:30-2:00 Period 6
Thursday, May 29
8:30-10:00 Period 7
10:15-11:45 Period 8
11:45 – 12:30 Lunch available

Students may come at the time of their exam. Students may not leave the exam session until it ends. Students may leave after their exam period is over and return later for another exam if necessary. Lunch is available in the event the student has to stay all day.
ND Sports Physical: Attached is the Sports Physical for students in grades 6-12 that plan to participate in sports this next school year. A new physical is required every year and must be dated after May 1. In order to participate in summer conditioning, a new Sports Physical is required. * Please note…students in grades 7-12 must participate in one sport to earn the PE credit.
ND Library Revival: Please send in donations of books, plants, and games at any time! You are welcome to leave your donations in the breezeway. Thank you for all the generous donations we have received so far! It’s looking like a library!
HOPE Scholarship: If you currently are receiving the HOPE Scholarship, it is time to renew! You do not automatically qualify again next year. You must complete a CPC (Continual Participation Confirmation) form and send it to the Hope Scholarship organization. You will receive a confirmation letter that you have been approved for the 25-26 school year. This letter must be sent to our Finance Director, Missy Jordan. mjordan@notredamewv.org
The reapplication period is January 3- June 15. Please don’t lose your scholarship!!!!!
TAPS (Tuition Assistance Program) opened February 1: Phase 1 has been awarded. You will be notified next week if you received any monies. There are still two more rounds of distribution.
Even if you receive the HOPE Scholarship, you are still eligible for TAPS! Please read the attached document for specific details. There are three phases. You only need to apply 1 time. If you are not approved in Phase 1, your application will automatically go into the queue for Phase 2 and Phase 3. To apply, simply go into your Facts account and search under Grants and Awards.

Ashtyn Hill will be participating in the WV State Track Meet today in Charleston. Ashtyn qualified for shot put! Congratulations to her and best of luck!
