Taylor Nicholas has been named the Valedictorian of the class of 2014 and Chris Petrucci is the Salutatorian.
Nicholas is the daughter of Patrick and Rose Nicholas. Both parents are graduates of Notre Dame High School Class of 1974. Taylor’s maternal grandparents are the late Frank Aliveto and Angeline Tiano Aliveto and her paternal grandparents are the late Kenneth and Thelma Trecost Nicholas. She has two siblings Michael and Tiana who are graduates of Notre Dame- Michael class of 2000 and Tiana the class of 2005. Taylor is President of Notre Dame Student Body, National Honor Society, and Key Club. She was also the St. Thomas Aquinas recipient and a member of the swim team since her Freshman year. Taylor plans to attend West Virginia University and major in Speech Pathology.
Petrucci is the son of Anthony and Sherri Petrucci. His older sister, Jalen, is a student at WVU. Christopher has attended Notre Dame High School for four years. He has participated in varsity soccer, basketball, and baseball and has been named to seven All-State teams including four First Team honors. He is a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll. In the fall he will attend Marietta College majoring in Health Sciences, with a certificate in Leadership Studies.
